| I thought the idea of the series was cute so I bought books 1-4 for my 8yo sold (3rd grade). I read the books I buy him first, just so I'm familiar with the content and so I can test his comprehension. I read this one last nite and was disappointed.
I try and buy a level above his so that a book will be a challenge for him, but this was definitely not challenging for an 8yo let alone 9-12 as suggested on the site. The concepts were repetitive. The vocabulary was limited. The overall ... Read More: |

| My 11 year old is totally addicted to these. They give him great pleasure. They are a little costly so if you can find them used they are a better deal. Once you figure out and find all the hidden objects the book does not serve much purpose. Overall a good book for 6 to 12 year olds. |

| I started reading this to my son when he turned 2, and at first, he was o nly interested in the illustration that had a fan depicted. I would read the first 1-2 pages of the book, and he would quickly flip over to his favorite page and then we were done with the book. However, I used to read it to him every day and soon he progressed to actually letting me read the entire story to him. | Get the non-pop up, the story is really wonderful and funny - not a boring read for mom and dad. I'm very disappointed, though; I love this book and we used to get it all the time from the library (non-pop up). We could only find the pop up hardcover online and it doesn't work well at all. The flow is hard to follow, too, and I'm always missing part of the story as I read, and having to go back. |

| This is another entertaining book series that my granddaughter loves! All
of the titles are good -- not a poorly written one among them. The books are aimed toward a young audience, but are fun to read for any person of any age that has a child's imagination! |
