| I just purchased this for my 33 year old sister as she is going through some hard times with a relationship's break up. This book seems to bring comfort as an old memory of similar books that I loved as a child because they helped me feel safe and see the world in a wonderous way. Can't remember all the titles but they include Old Black Witch, Suzy Squirrel, and other various otters, cats, and creatures. |

| I bought this book because it was authored by Laura Numeroff, who wrote the adorable Monster Munchies. It is nothing like MM, and is not only incredibly boring, but has no plot. I will be returning it. |

| We have a five year old heading to kindergarten this fall and we wanted to sharpen her focusing skills. This is a great book for helping kids understand the reasons for and benefits of listening. It has beautiful, simple illustrations and clear, concise messages perfectly suited for young children. My daughter loves the pictures and loves me to read this to her. |

| This is such a wonderful book. It is very thoughtful, respectful and kid friendly. The book spells out very clearly how to "join in and play." There is a wonderful teacher/parent guide in the back with activities for children to practice on how to make friends. The book is very well written and the illustrations are so dynamic. You can really tell how the children are feeling in the book by their facial expressions. (My only caveat is that the illustrator wasn't given credit on the byline. I don't know how the publisher ...
