| Smitten: A Long Time Ago...in a Far Away Land... I finished the Amber Spyglass. With the first book, Golden Compass I was hooked. The action, adventure, and twists of the Golden Compass and then the Subtle Knife put me anxiously into the final book, The Amber Spyglass.

| "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs" is a fanciful and entertaining book that I read to my children when they were young. I purchased one for my newest grandchild and my son was thrilled to have a book from his childhood to read to his daughter. |

| This is a regular addition to our bedtime reading collection for our two sons (ages 5 and 4). The book is colorful, fast and fun to read.
Both of my kids already know their ABCs but that doesn't prevent them from enjoying this book and giggling like mad as they read these lines: "Skit skat skoodle doot. Flip flop flee..." "mamas and papas and uncles and aunts..." |

| I'm sure this book is great for most people. It is well written with beautiful illustrations. Anecdotes kids can relate to. My son is a bit different. When I bring more attention to things it becomes more of an issue for him. Plus the reccomendations in the book to include more fiber in a childs diet should be taken lightly. The GI specialists told me I was feeding my son too much fiber. Without sufficient water intake the extra fiber bulks up in the intestinal track and can actually cause constipation. | I just purchased this for my 33 year old sister as she is going through some hard times with a relationship's break up. This book seems to bring comfort as an old memory of similar books that I loved as a child because they helped me feel safe and see the world in a wonderous way. Can't remember all the titles but they include Old Black Witch, Suzy Squirrel, and other various otters, cats, and creatures. |

| Redwall is a great story about animals trying to defend themselves from the evil ones, but I would be careful who I recommend it to. I enjoyed most of it, with the exception of some of the rough scenes wherein someone dies or is tortured. The author doesn't make a great deal of it, yet they are descriptive and perhaps too much for younger readers, or listeners... an adult can handle it fine.

| Only some some of the stickers stick. They are hard to get off the sheets and there are only 4 pages to stick them on. The pages display the scene, yet the scene is done so badly that the suggested stickers for the page fit no where. These stickers are supposed to peel and stick over and over, well they done. They shred, tear, crinkle, bubble - all on the first try. They are very fragile and tricky. Even I couldn't do it! |

| This was my first Magic Tree house book and I was really impressed. The story was well-done, and the concept of the tree house time machine reminded me of when I was a kid with a tree house in the woods with books strewn across its floor. In a way, many of us did or do have a tree house time machine to carry us away on wings of imagination, and I guess that's one of the reasons why these books are so popular.
