| Seekers is an amazing and captivating book. My daughter found it to be a very heart warming and touching life journey story about the lives of three very different bear cubs,who struggle to survive in the wilderness alone. She could not tear away from reading the book even though she was sleepy! She just can't wait to read the sequel. The book was great! |

| The two most recent novellas by PP are good, but not as engaging as the Dark Material series.
This prequel sheds light on how Lee and Iorek met and more specifically Lee's character. I'd really like to see a prequel focused on Lyra's father. The audience for this book isn't as vast as the Dark Materials series. |

| Batman started out as a dark brooding vigilante who had no problem pounding the pavement to get what he wants. Loeb and Lee seem to capture that flavor in a somewhat convoluted and complex storyline involving yet a new villain who somehow manages to coordinate the lunatics of Gotham (Crock, Poison Ivy, Riddler, Joker, etc., etc.) In addition we have Catwoman and the strange relationship with Batman taking a new twist.

| This is a 16 page board book with seven stories in it. Two of the pages are the table of contents.
The stories are, of course, short. In fact, they are "short short", as advertized! If your kid has moved past board books and is now well into the world of long books like Green Eggs and Ham or, dare I say it, War and Peace, this one might be a little *too* short short for him or her. | I bought these books for my two year old son whose name is David. He brings them to me so I can read them to him, he giggles when he hears his name and points to himself. |

| Although this book incorporates currency into the story line, it is primarily a book with a math exercise. It does not really teach children about money in the grander sense. Children just learning the denominations of various coins and dollar bills may find something new in this story, but it wouldn't be my first choice to introduce the subject. There is also a restaurant menu with prices that could potentially be used as a teaching tool.
