| Brilliant! Bought the whole set of 7 books for the kids (aged 8 & 10) and they loved them. The format is smaller than I remembered from my childhood but the kids didn't care. They read them over and over again. They also loved the Calvin and Hobbs books. |

| I am 20 years old, and I'll be turning 21 in May, and I just bought this box set. No, not for my 11 year old cousin, but for me. I love this book series, and it has a big place in my heart. When I read them, it'll be like opening up a time warp. I can't wait to read them again. |

| My four year old son is in love with this chapter series! A friend suggested it to us since he seemed ready for a more advanced reading material at bedtime. My husband reads him a chapter every night...sometimes more because they don't want to stop. It's become a great tradition for them, and something they both look forward to. We love that there are so many in the collection! Start with number 1 and just continue. :) |

| My 7-year-old read this in a matter of a couple hours. He loved it. He loved all the Magic Treehouse books. He even read a few of them two or three times. Excellent book. Wish they were a little longer so he couldn't zip through them so fast. :D |

| I thought this book was hilarious. I love all of the Dear Dumb Diary books. Jim Benton does a very good job of writing these. He writes them just like a diary. I would never expect a guy to write stories about a girl and her problems. The drawings that are in the book make me laugh. I love how Jamie Kelly "hates" Angeline because she's so beautiful and popular. Jamie wants Angeline to be a brat but she's not so Jamie has to pretend that she is anyway. | Alas, I bought and read aloud to my son every one of these books, to my regret. The early books were quite witty and clever, but last several were increasingly tedious and decreasingly clever. Every plot device in these books is a "Mcguffin," i.e. a meaningless way to advance a story that goes nowhere, but which showcases Mr. Handler's apparent cynicism and his delusions of profundity. | I loved this book it was very pages turning. My favorite part of the book was when Brian went back to the woods. The book is all about a boy that goes back to the woods to live and get his life back. When he is living in the woods he has a lot of suprises. You have to read Hatchet first because you will not get anything. This is a perfect gift for any boy that likes the outdoors or camping. Also it is very short (110 pages) so if you don't like long book this is for you. |

I bought this book 11 years ago for grandson, Paul who is now 14 years old. My new grandson, Eli, is 19 months old and has just discovered Thomas. I wanted to buy Eli a Thomas book and remembered the time spent reading this book with Paul and the enjoyment we both got from it. I'm buying the book again for Eli.
