| This sentence from the second-to-last chapter of our modern Dante's journey through Hell sums up this book in many ways. Intellectually stimulating, violent, fun, beautiful, dark and open; you won't find a better dystopia.

| A great novel is one that you can read multiple times and get something new from each new reading. Dune certainly qualifies.
This is, I think, my third reading since I first read 'Dune' as a freshman in college. My first reading had been a year before 9/11 and my second reading about a year after. | I'm a reader, first and foremost, and in general, I prefer books to movies. In this case, I prefer the movie. I tried very hard to like this book. Very hard. And I honestly was able to make it through 8 chapters before throwing in the towel and considering it a lost cause.

| When I first saw the selection of items in the PHB I was appauled at the lack of options for the players, I got the adventurers vault to be able to add more variety and choice to the equipment available in the game. For this purpose, the Adventurer's Vault is perfect. There are hundreds of new items contained within the pages, and as such, it adds to the choices availble for players and GM alike.

| I bought hard cover version to be more resilient to get worn out and to look nicer on the shelf. Unfortunately fore edge is not cut off and it looks really horrible.

| First let me start by saying that i am speaking as a whole when i say that Anita Blake series is a wonderful series. Jean-Claude is super sexy, i am currently on the 9th book in the series i have been into the series for 2 months now. i got into them thanks to a friend at work. I agree with some reviews for future books that say that anita starts having a lot more intimacy with her eye candies but if you read the book you will see why, it's not by choice and that makes it a more interesting. i love this series and i'm 22. i wouldn't recommend it to anyone less than 18 ...
