| In this book, Tobias and Ax morph taxxons to put natrul gas in the Yeerk pool. Taylor, a Controller says she's part of the Peace Movment and she comes up w/ the idea. It's really boring. Normaly Tobias books are good, but this one is horrible. |

| I loved the Answer. I can't believe the change in Jake's character. It was like he snapped. All the time I thought it would be Rachel who broke down but Jake just got evil. After reading it the second time though, I could sympathise with him. He needed to win, and he needed to do it then and there. I especially liked the return of Arbon, and how the Taxxons finally got a full explanation. | I have read most of the series and I think it was the most flawless. The story kept me more interested than most of the other books. Jude never ceases to amaze me. All her plots are different and they all get me pumped up and make the Star Wars soundtrack play in my head. This book is fast, action filled and very, very interested. |

| Awww. I think this is the book that scored a million and one rabid Tobias fan girls. The plot is still being introduced for the series, but we get to see inside the tragic mind of the wonderful Tobias after his unfortunate accident. |

| I wholeheartedly second the review by the Mother of Three from Oregon. This is a terrific sequel to the very enjoyable first book on the Mushroom Planet and the adventures of the two boys David and Chuck. In addition to the science, wonder, adventure, and drama, there's an interesting point to be made about pride. The anti-hero in this book is a pretentious, glory-seeking academic. | This was a surprisingly emotional book that helped solidify my love for this series back in the day. Applegate was smart enough to take the classically funny guy with hidden pain and turn into a storyline that affects the main plot of the entire series. Great action sequences as well. |
