| My four year old son is in love with this chapter series! A friend suggested it to us since he seemed ready for a more advanced reading material at bedtime. My husband reads him a chapter every night...sometimes more because they don't want to stop. It's become a great tradition for them, and something they both look forward to. We love that there are so many in the collection! Start with number 1 and just continue. :) |

| Bone is a dog? (I think) He and his cousins are trapped traveling through a desert and a forest to escape trouble his cousin got into. Now they are lost and trying to survive in the forest. A freak snowstorm (snow that plops out of the sky in a huge layer) causes havoc and meeting a beautiful girl named Thorn and her grandma save the day. Watch out for the giant rats! | While this wasn't a bad book, it wasn't of the quality I've learned to expect from Anne. None of the characters were written with enough depth to make the reader care about them, or even "believe" in them. Having met some of them in the 2 books written with his mother helped. Again, not a bad book, just not a great one, either. |

| Man I love this book. But I always find it in the juvenile section. Have these people READ the stuff that happens? There is at least 1 death every 5 pages! Even if it's cute animals doing it, death is death. Good book though. Highly recommended. In my top 10 favorite list. |

| A go between for the series to the movie. Not much substance here. Some great moments with Jayne. The best part is the end where the original monologue from the movie came from. A good background on the characters. |
