| I read this book only twice in my life - the last time being, well, over five years ago. But I can deliciously recall many details from Anne's first book in the Vampire Chronicles INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE.

| That can I say about Ted Dekker's History Cronicles?? I am hooked for life, and now I have everyone else I know hooked. The series was wonderful, and I can hardly wait for the new book Green to come out to complete the set. These books are part Sci-Fi, part Christianity, done to perfection. I have ordered all of Ted Dekker's books and hope to read all of them soon. |

| Having not read the previous books in this series, I was afraid I would be totally lost while reading this book. Even though I've read other YA fiction like Gossip Girl or The A List, somehow the Private series never really appealed to me. And after reading this book, I'm still not sure if it does. This is apparently a new trend in the publishing world, to have a prequel come out in between ending a series and then starting a new spin off.

| Ted Dekker's graphic novel "Infidel" reminded me how much I enjoy reading a comic book format. The artwork is terrific and the story is engaging even thought I haven't read book one. I had a hard time putting this down. I have long been a fan of Ted Dekker's horror novels. Now, he has gained me as a fantasy fan.

| I LOVED this book! The first book in this series (A Great and Terrible Beauty) was a little slow, but this one is absolutely captivating! Gemma is easy to like and easy to realte to. The story is interesting, the descriptions are beautiful, and the characters are complex and wonderfully developed. This is one of the best books I've read in a long time. I wasn't sure after finishing the first one, but I decided to give this one a shot. I am so glad I did! Definitely, read this book!! |

| "Rebecca" has been on my to read list for years-literally. There was always something to get to first but recently I was in need of something absorbing and after I had read the first few pages it was apparent the lulling/draw you in writing style of Daphne Du Maurier fit the bill.
