| I used this book for my tenth grade geometry class. At first glance it seems to have helpful examples and explanations, but the author actually only explains a few of the postulates and theorems. Many explanations towards the end of the book are very short or just not given as if the author grew lazy. It has plenty of practice problems, but little to no preparation for them. | This book was much smaller than I expected (I bought the hardcover edition). It's about the size of my hand. The story disappointed me too. It starts out fine, but you're left hanging at the end. I don't think I'd have bought it if I had read it in the store.

| I bought this book for a 400 level college course in teaching elementary math. It provides several different ways of presenting and thinking about a concept for the teacher to be familiar with. The book also lists hundreds of short activities and a ton of online resources and supplements. As far as a text book goes it is easy to read and comprehend. |
