| My 8 year old loves reading these books to me. I used to read them to him and now he is reading them to me. In this one the bus goes back in time and the kids learn about dinosaurs. It goes through the Triassic, Jurassic, Cretaceous and Cenozoic time periods along with some information about the animals found in each time period. The books are written on a 3rd grade reading level and recommended for ages 6-9. |

| I purchased several books for my teen, and this one was one that didn't interest her as much - but I have learned a lot from it! It has a lot of insight into the teen mind, and as much as we think we remember what it was like to be a teen, it's easy to forget about all the fears and insecurities they have. I highly recommend this book as a refresher course for parents of teens. My teen preferred the perspectives offered in the books Cycle Savvy and S.E.X. for information that pertained to her. |

Animalia and The Waterhole are read frequently in our home to teach ABCs and 1-10 counting as well as observation skills, and also for some good old fashioned fun reading aloud with fun and different voices!!

| I enjoyed this book especially because my grandmother was a rider on an orphan train when she was around 11 years old. She is still spry at the age of 98. The story she tells me is almost identical, for she felt she was tall, plain and ugly. Her mother died in New York and her and all of her brothers and sisters (6 of them) came to Texas. I think everyone should know about this part of our history. Eve Bunting did a wonderful job of telling the story that so many orphan train riders will never have the opportunity to tell. ... There is reason to doubt that everything Col. Corso related was the exact truth. | These cards work fine for standard drilling. But I wanted to play War with them as a way of making math facts more fun. It didn't occur to me when I ordered them that the answer to one side being printed on the other would make games difficult to play. Moreover, I found the cards impossible to shuffle because they're so big and flimsy.
