| Depicts and explains physics in a nice broken down simple way. So far I'm getting it as I go. No real retention; but that is my issue, not the books! I'm reading it nibble by nibble for my own enjoyment - but I think it would be a really helpful companion for students as it makes physics less intimidating. |

There are only a few words on each page, making it a quick read-aloud that will hold the attention of even very young toddlers. The text describes the different types of cars in a freight train, then follows the train through tunnels, past cities, in daylight and darkness. Satisfying and highly recommended. |

| My son loves the "Diary of" series. We had Worm first, then added Spider and now Fly. Like any typical boy he loves bugs and these are fun and inventive. The illustrations are great too! |

| i purchased this workbook and it indicates that the answer key was included however there isn't an answer key so if you are a novice at algebra like i am it doesn't help if you do not have the answer key to let you know if in fact you are grasping the concepts. i am very disappointed. |

| I agree with other reviews that I don't think this book is as good as The Gruffalo...but I'm still giving it 5 stars because it is still a really great book. I don't think the story is as clever and the ending seems a little anti-climatic. But my 18 month old son LOVES this book...even more than The Gruffalo. This is one of the most often read books in our house. |

| Well, almost everything...this shows a beginner everything he needs to know about astronomy, from equipment to nebulae to satellites, however, it doesn't show you how to find anything in the sky. the book has some beautiful charts of the milky way in the back but no indication of how to use them or what are the good targets. a few pages describing what targets to search for and how to find them would be very useful to a beginner. "left turn at Orion" would be a good choice for something like that.
