| This is a very cute book and is age appropriate for my daughter who is turning 3 next month. She loves to pick out who she looks like, which is typically cookie monster or the honkers. I am glad I purchased. |

| My 7th grade pre-algebra class used this book (1989-90). I never saw a better math textbook.
I cannot understand the critical reviews here. I was the top student in any math class I took between middle school and college. I won my state's math competition my senior year of high school. So it's not like gifted kids in general hate the book. And, hey, the issue is not whether the student likes it. It's whether she learns math. And she will learn it if she uses this book. ... | As a retired elementary teacher, I value literacy experiences for young children. I purchased this book for my grandson's third birthday. He already had "My Big Truck Book" and loves it, it is one of his favorites. He has well over 100 at the present time, but turns again and again to this one. "My Big Train Book" is fast becoming another favorite. The bright pictures are great. I would recommend either or both these books. |

| We started reading this to our son when he was 2.5 yrs old. He's now 3 and really enjoys reading it with us. He looks at it like any of his other fun books and its helping us get across the whole peanut allergy concept to him. I especially like that it mentions foods that peanuts "hide" in like M and Ms since that's a food my peanut-allergic son would really like to have and we've had to say no. |
