| I bought this book for my 5-yr.-old son and it was a huge hit. He will look at it for a couple of days and then it's back on the shelf, but it regularly is pulled off again. He loves the little Pokemon-like characters and is getting tonnes of info (as am I) about the elements of the periodic table at the same time. He also makes it a point to tell everyone that there is chromium in our spoons which always catches them off guard :) |

| I am employed as a 911 Dispatcher and when I saw this book, I had to get it for my newborn granddaughter. While it is written for a toddler, not an infant, I expect it to teach her when to pick up the phone and call for help. It's written on the level of a small child and explains how public servants are there to help them. A fellow dispatcher is expecting her first child, and I just had to pick up one for her as well. |

| My son received this book from his Uncle. It is my son's favorite book, and he's only 2 years old! He recites the list of stinky stuff in the garbage truck, and loves to laugh at the "sound effects" we make while we read it. The illustrations are wonderful & and story is a perfect rendition of the secret life of garbage trucks! |

| We started reading this book at 5 months. By 8 mos my son would point to familiar objects like the spoon with food on it. It is long enough to have substance, but short enough to hold the attention of the youngest reader. Minimal words, mostly drawn pictures. My son is a year now and still likes it; this one features common phrases like "Hold still," and "Go to sleep!" |

| This was recommended by my nephew and nieces as the most informative book about puberty (when I asked them). It is really good. It is to the point, but keeps it lighthearted. It addresses a lot of good questions and worries kids have but won't ask. I HIGHLY recommend it. |

| My daughter struggled and struggled with her times tables. One afternoon with this book and she was more confident and knew most of them! I only wish it had the 12's as well. |

| Though the cover is gross, we enjoyed the author's other book Oh, Yuck so we purchased this one. These books are filled with fun and interesting information. The author has a great sense of humor and presents topics in a way that is fun to read. My child, and even adults we showed the books to, were fascintated. Books like this help make science and history interesting. |

| This is an excellent book for a 3+ year old child. My grandson loved it. I had to read this book to him (he asked for it by name) every night for a week; sometimes he asked that I read it to him two times in a row.
He now knows what a Lunar Lander is and he knows there is no gravity in space. I highly recommend this book. Eugene |
