| The magic bus series is very enjoyable. As swimming season started we learned about sinking and floating. I know he gets it when he tells me what we have to do to make things sink or swim in the pool. |

She goes through her story with detail and feeling, through middle school, high school, and college. | This inviting, colorful and easy to understand guide was a great hit with my 11 year old daughter that was reluctant to organize her homework. Loads of tear-out sections including flash cards, bookmarks and inspiring posters make it child and parent friendly. We now look forward to homework with many years ahead of us. |

| I live overseas with my kids and they attend a local school in another language (their third language). I feel good about the level of education in general, but want my kids to also maintain their mother tongue of English. They read a lot, including in English, but rarely have the occasion to write. These books are great for age-appropriate writing opportunities for kids in this situation. I don't dictate how much they do, or that they finish them, but they often take the initiative to do a few pages on days they don't have homework ... Read More: |

| My Great Aunt Arizona is a beautifully-written, beautifully-illustrated book based on a real person, the author's great aunt Arizona. We loved the book so much we took a family vacation some years ago to see the area. The artist obviously went there and saw Henson Creek and the real places, just as we did. We saw Great Aunt Arizona's grave site, too, and met the author's mother.
We love this book so much we have donated it to a couple of libraries and given it as gifts many times. Top notch! |

| My grandson is a "would be" bully; while my granddaughter is a perfect victim. Therefore, I bought the book to read to both of them...it worked! My grandson was infuriated that anyone would think about doing this to his sister, but I pointed out that he had done things similar to this to her. He hugged her and apologized.
