| Writing Words was so inviting to my 5 year old daughter. She opened it up and knew right away what she was to do, despite the fact that she cannot read and is not that sure of the orientation of her letters. The pages make her curious and she loves to trace and to write the letters in the blocks. These Kumon books are very subtle that way - they are easy and natural without being tricky or cute like many other books. We also love the Mazes and Number Games books. |

| I really thought this might be fun to try with students, but it came terribly disappointing. It has little more than a coloring book. You could get some flash cards and use your creativity and come up with way better than this. |

| We have bought over a dozen Kumon books, and I was thrilled that they had one for teaching the basic concepts of time. Some of the other ones that my son has completed are My Book of Coloring (Kumon Workbooks), My First Book Of Tracing (Kumon Workbooks), and My Book of Mazes: Things That Go! (Kumon Workbooks). We are currently working on several others.

| I got this for my 5th grade daughter. She was not having a very easy time in math and I was looking for anything to help. We both loved this book. It teaches both math and math study skills. She greatly enjoyed the book and was happy to read 5 or so pages a day to get all the way through the book. Though I certainly can't give total credit to this book, it deserves at least part of the credit for my daughter's improved outlook toward math. |
