| We've done some of the projects in the book. My daughter loves it when we get out the book to do one of the projects. Se really loves the purple cow. This is a must buy if you are looking for projects to keep your child busy and expose them to the world of science. Also as a soon to be teacher i could see implementing some of these projects in to the classroom. |

| We got G is for Google a while ago and I bought Q is for Quark for my son's 11th birthday. He's not a big reader, but he likes to read this series. The entries are quite complex, they really explain sophisticated science, and the entries, although usually only a page long, are also quite dense - this is not a dumbed down version.

| This product is great. We have used it on our kids academic bowl radio program. With such a wide variety of subjects, the program certainly prompts our students to THINK. It's great to have a useful entertainment product that does not require batteries. |

| This is great for homeschool because it contains a wide range of activities in language and math. The answer key saved us a lot of unnecessary work. We found the test prep practice helpful as well. |

| I purchased this book for my grandson who is now midway through fifth grade. He is struggling with many challenges that face youth just starting middle school including bullies, peer pressure to try new things and his first real crush. The straight forward but light way that Arlene Erlbach presents the topics were just what he needed. He has read the book through and still goes back to review some sections. I would recommend this book for all youth just starting the middle school years. |

| This is a small book with some good ideas. Not sure it's worth $10, as the amount of info is about the length of a few-page magazine article. Does include some magnets and make-your-own-magnet sheets, but still not sure it's worth the price. Most Klutz books are better than this one! |

| I thought this book was a very good description of how hard it was to get an education in the South if you were black. They way the way the white children treated the black kids makes me wonder if any education went on. Still, the education was better than what blacks kids received in the black schools so the kids in the family persisted in attending the white schools.
