| We've been reading this book over and over for 5 months. It's my son's favorite and hasn't lost even a little appeal. So buy it if you want to read about the cat family 3 or 4 times a day because the concepts are facinating to toddlers. (They are having a baby, they wreck the car, the tow-truck comes and there is a Christmas surprise for the children). | I must admit that I loved this book as a child for one reason only: the pickles. They are randomly dispersed throughout the illustrations, and it becomes a delightful "Where's Waldo?"-esque kind of game to find all the pickles. The rest of the story is cute, too, but the real fun is the pickle hunt. My three-year-old gets a big hoot out of this one too! |
