| I give the writer credit for the way she told Ash's story in the two parts. I don't see how it could have been done any other way. Saying that, the first part was overkill and the second part was lame.

| Nora Roberts is one of my personal favorite authors. I generally read 4 books a month, but I am savoring they reading of
Tribute. I am very impressed with the characters and where the story is going. It is a must read for Nora Roberts fans and those that just want a good story line. |

| After reading the first 2 books by Nicholas I figured I would go in order of how they were written and "A WALK" being the 3RD. It was was heart breaker, Jamie was the preacher daughter and where ever she went she took her bible. Landon was a troubled teenager, who after a play and going to the orphanage falls in love with Jamie. When she tells him she is sick, he is heartbroken. | I hate to be mean to authors because they're giving it their best (or at least I hope so), but this book made me feel like Palahniuk is just writing because it's his job. It wasn't a gripping tale like Fight Club or even Diary, and it was only 180 pages so it's only entertaining for a day. He throws a lot of gross descriptions in the book for filler, like how the floor is covered in sex goo, and that's about all you get out of it besides a twisted love triangle between the guys in the waiting room and the porn star.

| First of all let me say that I won't tell you the story like so many do on here.....that ruins the whole book, so I don't read reviews. I will say that you will love this one. It contains so many elements such as suspense, romance, children, and family. I have read 12 of Nicholas Sparks books including this one which I couldn't put down, and read it in 3 hours. You will cry, get mad, and say YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!! I highly recommend this book for your library. |
