| What a great story. My heart went out for Sebastian. He was so alone for so long, finally he found his mate. Yes, Kaderin was annoying in the beginning, but once her "feelings" kicked in, she became likable. All-in-all, this book is a keeper. |

| In Sherrilyn Kenyon's universe of immortals things get really erotic.
The raw erotica is the plus side of this series. Ms. Kenyon writes a great love scene and an even better sex scene. But unfortunately that is all there is to these novels. | I thought this novel would be a Zane classic, pushing new frontiers for her anthologies...but sadly I was totally and utterly let down. This book is a flop. 60% of the stories read like they written for a high school lit class, 20% showed promise if developed and edited further and the other 20% just barely hit the mark. I really wish Zane and her editors had held this up for closer inspection, then they wouldn't have published this waste of timber.
So NOT worth the price! |

| Great couple and story, if you like interfering gods and pretty hot love scenes. Anya was portrayed like a typical silly, immature goddess (just read those old Greek legends where the gods behave like 5 year olds and throw tantrums when they don't get what they want), which perfectly fit here. Still she was spunky and sacrificed a lot in order to save Lucien. A great read! |

| I found the 1st half of this book slow and tedious. I forced myself to finish the story, though, and it got better towards the end. There were some funny parts to this story, and I did laugh out loud a few times. So, at those times, it was entertaining. The main problem I had with this story is that I did not find Miss Brightly a simpathetic or likable heroine. For most of the story she appears to be a fortune hunter who finds herself desperate (and almost destitute) now because she was too "full of herself" during her prime (the past several seasons.) ...
