| First let me start by saying that i am speaking as a whole when i say that Anita Blake series is a wonderful series. Jean-Claude is super sexy, i am currently on the 9th book in the series i have been into the series for 2 months now. i got into them thanks to a friend at work. | Overall, I enjoyed this book. It was a quick, easy read. It kind of had a boring start but definitely picked up a bit later. I loved John and Savannah as a couple but I knew once he went back to Germany, it would be a struggle for them to stay together. I will say I never truly got a grasp of the love between John and Savannah in the end. It was so wishy washy. I understand their logic but it still didn't fit right. The ending was typical but I still found it to be an average/above average book. |

| I went to about pg 110 thinking it had to get better based on all the positive reviews but there is no interesting character development or plot going on here. I don't even like the characters. As someone else mentioned, the writing is not very good. I have read so much better. |

| I have this to say to LKH, and about Blood Noir and the new direction of the Anita Blake series.
If you're going to write porn, learn to write it well. If you're going to continue calling these "real" novels, you might want to up the plot factor and let the sex become a delicious little treat every few chapters. | I hate to be mean to authors because they're giving it their best (or at least I hope so), but this book made me feel like Palahniuk is just writing because it's his job. It wasn't a gripping tale like Fight Club or even Diary, and it was only 180 pages so it's only entertaining for a day. He throws a lot of gross descriptions in the book for filler, like how the floor is covered in sex goo, and that's about all you get out of it besides a twisted love triangle between the guys in the waiting room and the porn star.

| There is a fine line between erotica and pornography these days but Nancy Madore takes her place effortless on the side of erotica. The fairy tales in her book lack nothing but the obscene language and poor editing. There is a surprising amount of very graphic and shall we say "kinky" sex included, but it is put in a way that is very dignified. I liked what she did with the stories and how she kept true to them. The ones I recognized anyway. This was good. Nice job. |

| Another hit for the Sisterhood. It is pure escapist fantasy, but so much fun! It is part of a long running series with characters who have developed and bonded throughout, so don't pick up this one as a stand alone and expect to fully get all of the connections and inside jokes. It is a fun series to start with from the beginning and highly recommended! |
