| i did not think it was possible to top something borrowed, after all most sequels are a let down, but emily giffin pulled off an amazing novel. at the beginning of the book i highly disliked darcy and by the end i loved her...be sure to have tissues ready for the ending. |

| I really liked The Darkest Night. Gena Showalter's writing keeps you hooked and the characters are likeable and interesting.
The plot is interesting and the story is well written. I am interested in the other books in this series and will be reading them as well. |

| I like all sorts of books. Sometimes I want a a light read, a break from something that requires a lot of my attention. I checked out Sundays from my local library as an Overdrive Audio book for just that purpose. I've never read anything from Patterson but I wasn't expecting something literary and if you aren't either, you'll have a better chance of enjoying a book like this. | Flat Out Sexy was just Flat Out Adorable. The story starts with the heroine Tamara Briggs at a cocktail party trying to talk herself into then out of feelings for the guy she's been seeing and brought to the cocktail party when she bumps - literally - into the hero Elec Monroe. Through a series of events, they end up in a cab together headed to a friends trailer, where she is planning on spending the night. Elec ends up spending the night too, but they do not so much sleeping.

| For A First Time Author, This Book Wasn't Half Bad. I Didn't Like How He Had Put It In A First Person View The Entire Book, And It Seemed All He Did Was Run Around With His Brian Turned Off. Would I Recommend, If Your Bored Then Yes, Otherwise Don't Bother. |

| Although I was a tremendous fan of "My Sister's Keeper", I've been summarily disappointed by all her other books, except for this one. The characters who are realistically flawed, the writing is amazing, and the part about the trial was lovely to read. This isn't a book about mercy killings. It's a book about love. Jamie is condemned for having loved his wife too much, to the point where he was willing to kill her when she selfishly asked, knowing that it would destroy him physically and mentally. | I'm a reader, first and foremost, and in general, I prefer books to movies. In this case, I prefer the movie. I tried very hard to like this book. Very hard. And I honestly was able to make it through 8 chapters before throwing in the towel and considering it a lost cause.

| Smoke Screen is Ms. Brown's best work in years. She is my favorite author and she always will be. However, I was disappointed with Play Dirty and I wondered if Ms. Brown has jump the literary shark. She redeemed herself with Smoke Screen. True there was a lack of development with the characters but the story was well written, fast paced, and just plain entertaining. If you are looking for a fun, entertaining read, then Smoke Screen is for you! |
