| This book is GREAT - I saw it's author on "The Colbert Report" - it received the "Colbert Bump" at least from me (Colbert Nation members will understand) - very interesting for all ages, with beautiful pictures, full color and perspective. It has great illustation and information also. Well worth your money !!!!! |

| What I would say, this is a amazing book for children 4th grade or 3rd grade. This book has a very good humor. It's about a gecko named Chester Gecko ( Chet for short ) that acts like a detective and has to find Shirley Charmeleon's little brother Billy. If he finds her brother he will get the leftovers of Shirley Charmeleon's dad's stinkbug pie.

| My daughter who is 9.5 asked me to purchase this for her after we read a library copy. It is a sweet tale, well told. She much preferred the illustrations in the 25th anniversary edition. |

| I was impressed by this book. First it was eye catching and appealing to the child's eye. I first introduced the book in group time in my preschool class of 15. Then each day following we reinforced the life cycle of frogs. I incorporated facts and aquarium projects as well as sequence cards(homemade) and rhymes and fingerplays. The children wanted this book read everyday. It was a joy to find something to excite the children and hold their attention. |

| Sea Turtles is an excellent book with great photographs outlining the natural history, biology, and conservation of the world's sea turtles. The authors make an effort to comment on all the sea turtles of the world (seven species), and add some information on salt water crocodiles, marine iguanas, and sea snakes. Factually, the material is very good, and presented for a 3rd-4th grade reading level, with difficult or unique words spelled phonetically in the text.

I read the alligator baby. It was a woman who had a baby in the zoo. The parents keep going back and forward because they thought they grabbed the baby but they grabbed baby animals. This time the little girl went and got her little baby brother back. This book is five stars because it is funny! |
