| This coloring book has some beautiful pictures and the life-like images are wonderful to look at. The information that's written alongside the pictures is very helpful. But the best part are the pictures-the ones that you can color as well as the coloring keys. If I didn't know any better, I would think that the animals depicted were actually real! |

| This is a charming book, my husband read this aloud to our 6 year old and we all enjoyed hearing the updated version of the classic story of The Frog Prince.
The story was sweet and funny and the language was amusing. I don't know how well I would have done with it if I had been the reader, but my husband really got into it...the frog prince has a bit of a speech impediment. | I teach first grade and have used this book for several of my reading groups. Since many schools in California are required to teach reading and math most the day now, it's great to have the opportunity to bring in a little science. Excellent pictures, simple text, complex concepts... My students loved it!
Most young children would enjoy reading this book at home as well. |

| I love the store of Owen & Mzee, but it's for an 7-8+ year old child--and then a better choice in my opinion is Owen & Mzee: Language Of Friendship by Isabella Hatkoff (or check out her other great titles in the series).
Unfortunately, this picture book is written for a VERY young child. The subject matter is just inappropriate for a child that age.
