| I would strongly reccomend Knights for any kid or teen who would like to learn more about knights and the culture of the middle ages. The book contains colorful pictures and is very easy to read. It also contains interesting facts like: when knights were putting horse shoes on their horses for battle they would leave some of the nails sticking out of the hooves in order to injure enemies. | We read a great many books for our homeschool history program. I enjoyed this book and think my 7th grade son will as well, because it is such an easy and pleasant reader. This is a pleasant change from some of the very technical and detailed history books we read. Although it is an easy read, it quite adequately gives a summary of Calvin's life and well expresses many of his beliefs. |

Making art relevant to children helps make it accessible to them. | This coloring book is a wonderful way for children to learn about great art. It was so interesting and fun to see how my children, ages ranging from four to twelve, colored great works of art as they asked what each one was about. We all enjoyed learning more about art, religion, and history.
I did not feel it best to expose my children to some of this book. The good in the book is well worth editing some. My children and I enjoyed this book greatly! |
