| Compared to other Berenstain bears books, the new ones by Mike Berenstain have a lot of words and can get a little boring and mundane. They also don't start with the clever little rhyme like his parents did. They still teach the lesson but it's a little bit over kill and if you are reading these at bedtime (like myself) suddenly your reading time is quite a bit longer, so instead of 2 books you may only have time for 1. |

| This has got to be one of the best books that I have read. It started out a little slow for me, but once I got into it, I really liked it. It has a really good message to it, and it was really inspiring to me. I read some reviews about how it was too detailed or boring, but that is not true at all. It is not a total action book, but that is not what it is meant to be. I loved this book and it is part of my top ten. |

| I am using this as a daily devotional for my daughter, who is 5. We've put the verses on alphabet flash cards so she can memorize them, and she loves it. This book does a great job explaining God's word on a level she can understand. The questions after the story give us something to talk about and the little prayer ties it all together. Highly recommended! |

I have both the paperback and the hardcopy edition of this book. I recommend the hardback because of how much it is used. I have read this book to my nephews dozens of times. When the two of them leave I always tell them, "Remember, You are Special!" They came in from out-of-state last week and the first thing one of them said to me was, "You are special." The book is a good reminder for adults as well as youngsters! |

| I teach kindergarten and this book has been a huge blessing. The students I teach have very low English proficiency and they just can't focus well without a lot of visuals. The Big Picture Bible has illustrations that cover the entire page and also is a good bit larger than other kids Bibles making it a great tool to use with larger groups. I would recommend this Bible to anyone looking for a good children's Bible, but particularly for teachers looking for a good way to share Bible stories with their classes. |

| I played this every night for my daughter as she was falling asleep when she was little. Later it actually helped her in Jr. High for a test she took on naming the books of the Bible, she remembered them in order because of the song on the tape she'd learned while very young. Later as a teacher in a Christian school she taught the other teachers and children how to sing them as well. Now she'll be passing this on to her own children. This is a legacy that will stay with your children for a lifetime. |
