| This a pretty good very thick book. It really is like a book with a curriculum it has mostly everything you need. It really takes the guess work out what to teach them before they go to school. Some of things included were: opposites, rhyming, colors, shapes, matching, one to one, and writing/tracing. I think any kid would like it. |

| This book is good but a little long per page. Being a preschool teacher I look for fewer words per page and bright pictures. It had the pictures, just too many words. It did tell the children what they would be doing in preschool. |

| Practice books for summer study are great, but without an answer guide, this well constructed book has dubious value. Several exercises provoked disagreement between three college educated teachers who reviewed the book with me as to the best possible answer. There not even a web citation of where teachers can procure answers. |

| My son has some challenges getting his ideas on paper...he is being tutored by a retired teacher who is a reading specialist. She just loves this book for my son. They already completed the HEART project and it is coming along pretty well, can't wait to see the finished project. |

| I teach history classes for homeschool junior high students and use this book as the spine of our program. The paperback's font is way too small-- I recommend the hardcover.
The book is divided into 4 sections: prehistoric, ancient, medieval, and modern. The Ancient and Medieval sections are available as stand-alone volumes from Usborne.
