| This is a very good book for preschool rather than kindergarten. Kindergarten goes so much farther than the topics covered in this book. It is a basic letter and concept book. I wish I had bought the first grade version. I would reccommend this for parents to prep their children the summer before kindergarten. It would be great for that. As far as being "comprehensive" kindergarten curriculum it is not. |

| This is an excellent comprehensive book for each corresponding grade level. Though some parents will find, as I have, that their homeschool child is more advanced than they would be in public school. My children grades 4th, 3rd and 1st, are finding each of their books a little too easy, so be sure to supplement each compresive curriculum book with some additional books. For example, the "Skill Sharpeners" is an excellent series of books. |

| My four year old daughter and I adore this book and have for 2 years! There are beautiful illustrations (not photos) of a lot of animals. The only thing it lacks is information on all of the animals, but overall it is a gorgeous book that gets a lot of use in our house! |

| My students in Japan, ages 1 and 2 years old, LOVE this book. I was really surprised. I thought the paper-cut-out artwork wouldn't grab them, but it did. The vocabulary was basic, but things they knew and could point to in the pictures. I turned this into a dialogue book because I found the sentences weren't enough. But even a month after we finished our work on this book, 2 of my students were still carying this in their book bags every day because they loved this book so much! |

| We are homeschoolers and were looking for an atlas to accompany our geography curriculum. I borrowed this particular book from the public library. We were so impressed, we decided to purchase our own copy. I felt the price was great for something like this - oversized, beautiful color photographs, satellite images; political and physical maps of each continent; just about anything you could ever want from an atlas. The text is geared towards students - my own children are 9 and 11. |

| I bought this book for my homeschooled 8-year-old, and was disappointed to discover that almost the entire book talked about how to handle school. GT classes, working with teachers to negotiate more suitable learning opportunities, how to survive on the playground and in regular classrooms -- all these topics were addressed, but none were relevant to my homeschooled son, who still has questions about how and why he thinks and perceives the world differently than other children. |

| This little activity book is great for little kids. I bought this to add to a teacher collection, however I misinterrpreted the title and thought "JUNIOR" was for older kids...but really it is for LITTLE kids. The MadLibs have picture matching deals so there is no question about what is an adjective, noun, verb, etc. |
