| This is my first Pat Conroy book. All of his books have great reviews on Amazon, so I wasn't sure which one to start with; I just picked this one. I think I made a very good choice by reading 'The Water Is Wide' first. It's an early book, and I got a lot of insight into who Pat Conroy is, his humor, his goodwill, the kinds of people he surrounds himself with, etc.

| The theme based school where I work will start with the theme of "Who Counts?" and it covers politics and elections on different levels for the children who attend our K-8 school. I picked up Susan E. Goodman's book because I was familiar with her other books, and I knew my students would love it. | This is a good book for teaching kids about the voting process. I used it with my 3rd grade class and they enjoyed it. I'm not sure if it was listed on the product page, but the book was smaller than other copies of it I have seen, which made it hard to use as a read aloud. |

| I bought this book for my 5 year old son. He is a die hard dinosaur fan. He loves it. The pictures in it are magnificent! The information is in laymens terms. You don't have to be a scientist to understand the content. There are tons of dinosaur pictures. Definately one of my sons favorite dino books! |

| I absolutely love this book. I use it frequently in my practice with kids who struggle with ADHD and it is amazing in helping to teach kids skills and techniques in self monitoring and managing their symptoms. I would highly recommend this book to anyone, especially those who work with kids! |

| I have a very inquisitive 6 year old girl. She saw Grandma's encylopedia set a month or so ago and she wanted to read them all! Well, we don't have the space for a set, but this book has a little bit of everything. She will just grab it from the shelf and start going through it, and stop to read whatever catches her eye. If she needs MORE info, we go surfing! (On the WWW of course!) So glad we got this encyclopedia for her. It's also a great starting point for any studying (or exploring) we like to do. |

| I bought this dictionary for my 10-year old daughter, who is in 5th grade. She needed one to do her homework and the college one I had was too complicated for her. This Intermediate dictionary is just what she needed. It has all the necessary information, yet is more clear and easy for her to use. I also believe that it will be advanced enough for her to use for a few years. Highly recommend! |
