| Leonard Maltin's reviews are excellent. Nevertheless, this product is essentially unusable. In an effort to keep the page count down, the publisher has used a very small type face that I have difficulty reading even though I have a full correction in my reading glasses.
The book is adequate if one wishes to look up a single item. Browsing? Forget about it! I have a 1999 edition of the Leonard Maltin book and it is a delight to use and browse. I have browsed it so much that ... Read More: |

| "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" starts out with Harry Potter, back at the Dursleys' for summer break. The Durseleys have not changed and are still not nice to Harry. Then, a flying ford filled with Weasleys shows up and Harry is off to visit with the Weasleys utill school starts.

| I just finished reading this book earlier this week and I must say that for anyone who has ever read a book previously on body language that this book will seem to be very basic...at first glance. The authors have crammed quite a bit of information into approximately four hundred pages and have done so in quite an entertaining manner. | This is Sedaris' best collection of short stories/memoirs/autobiographies. His writing is wonderful, in part because it's hard to separate fact from fiction. He has a true gift for writing. My favorite story is the title one but all are great. These stories are great to read all at once or one at a time! |

| "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" is much thicker than the previous HP books. Once again J.K. Rowling takes her magical series of tales in a darker direction. However, do not be mistaken. There is plenty of light touches and twists and turns to keep the intrest of teenagers. Early on, we are treated to a professional quidditch match, followed by a touch of evil. | This is a beautiful book. There are lots of interesting seasonal recipes, with gorgeous pictures. It's about eating with the seasons and honoring what each season can bring to the table. Some recipes are simple and some more involved. Not all the dishes have to do with figs, but all have been carefully prepared around what is grown and available fresh. |
