| I'm keen on eating and drinking less animal products so I thought this book would be right up my alley. However, when it arrived from the library I was very disappointed. I am just grateful I didn't actually purchase this book. My biggest complaint, as others have said, is that this cookbook is not creative and relies far too much on processed meat substitutes. Supposedly it is based on a true story, and it tells of how she survived on her native island after all of her people were removed and her younger brother was killed. The reader never knows why Karana's people were removed from the island, which would have helped me understand the story a bit better.

| I couldn't have prepped for the GMAT without this guide. It is a "must have" for anyone who actually wants to study for the GMAT with real GMAT questions. Kaplan's questions are too hard, Barron's are just bizarre - you can rely on these questions. |

| Great book. Focuses on the origins of their songs as well as the people who influenced them. Fantastic insight into the personal lives and minds. Relates what was happening in their lives and careers with how they expressed themselves in their music. Don't expect to hear much about controversial double intendres, etc. This book is based upon fact and states when conjecture is used.
