| My son thoroughly enjoys this series. "The Tale of Benjamin Bunny" is a particularly good story to read after the child becomes familiar with "The Tale of Peter Rabbit," which sets up this story of Benjamin Bunny and Peter Rabbit's visit to Mr. McGreggor's garden. | I read this to our son, sadly, after he "out grew" these books, they were passed on. Happily, after searching all over I found these treasures on Amazon and now have a new collection for our beautiful grand daughter to enjoy. |

| This little story teaches sharing and concern for others. The other knits special hats for each animal that fit that animals head/body and keep them especially warm. Very well written little story with lovely pictures that will be a favorite with large and small. |

| My 4 yr-old loves this book! I like it because there is an actual story to go along with learning the alphabet. He likes it because it makes him laugh. We love Max! Rosemary Wells does it again with this entertaining book.

| My nearly-two-year-old loves this book and it is one we don't mind reading because it is clever and fun. I don't know how much of the concept is getting across yet, but with a new baby in the house, I think the idea of people/animals/plans growing up is starting to come into focus. |

| Max and Ruby books are good for young toddlers. The stories are very vague and nothing ever really happens leaving the ending of the book a little dry. If you like Max and Ruby I suppose this book is along the lines of standard for this author. There is that red lobster that appears in this book (and others) that chases Max around and around and like always Ruby is trying to get him out of trouble...at the end Max wants to do it again. |

| This book was first published in 1965 and, unlike so many other books, is still fresh and current. I wish that I had had it as a child, but I love it just the same. I did have many "Little Golden Books", and so many of them are classics (like the Saggy-Baggy Elephant, Little Red Hen, The Pokey Little Puppy, and so on), but none of them have the charm and lasting beauty of "Home for a Bunny".
