| I bought this game with the hope that they had done away with some of the overly childish and frankly lame additions that were included in the emerald and ruby versions i.e. the pokemon contests for instance. They should have stuck with what they had going good with gold and silver. those games simply added to the strategies possible and made battling monsters that much more exciting. | My three children, who are now grown with children of their own, loved this book. They delighted in pointing out things that they recognized and never tired of reading it. We still have books from when they were small, but this one fell apart from constant use. I've been looking for this book now for my grandchildren to enjoy. Richard Scarry books should never be out of publication. |

| Well let me start off by commenting on the fantastic cover this book has. That is what first drew me to this book. I can recall when I was a kid and I would see the book cover and look away because it frightened me. But that was it's allure. Every kid thinks the same thing, "What's that?".

| Tintin is a great comic book ... funny, witty, adventurous, and with clean language. These are classics! I used to read them growing up in Europe, and I am glad that I can have my children read them too. |

| I've reviewed several of the Berenstain Bears books available at Amazon. This one is my least favorite because it is stuck in the mid-1980s. Mother Bear supposes the increased TV viewing is a result of the family switching from a black-and-white TV to a color set or, perhaps, because Papa Bear installed a new antenna atop the tree house.
