| We have 5-6 of the Berenstain Bears books that we mix into our bedtime reading library. This book, "Forget Their Manners," is especially handy for bedtime reading when I want to stimulate a discussion about a lapse of manners at the dinner table. By the time I finish reading, my children are openly talking about their recent bad manners and resolving to improve their behavior.

| This is my 3 y.o.'s favorite book, he calls it "the big book" and almost every night he asks for it when it's time for story-telling, even though he has a big collection of books which he loves, including many Seuss books, none can top this one.
This is a great book, it allows you to have lots of Seuss stories all gathered up even if you don't have a lot of space in your house, and it's great for traveling because you can take so many stories with you in one single volume. Plus, they ... Read More: |

| The years haven't been kind to this book. The illustrations are somewhat dated and, judging by the other reviews here on Amazon, there's an angry contingent of parents with abandonment issues who would rather you skip this book for a guide to raise Indigo Children.

| This is a cartoon book. The artwork is a bit immodest. I did like Book of a Thousand Days and Princess Academy though. Those are much better reading. |

| This is largely a nonsense book, of course - most of what Seuss gives as examples are his classic made-up creatures. Bloogs blowing by, and a Rink-Rinker-Fink.
But what a nonsense book! It's a lot of fun to read and talk about after. It may not be the most famous Seuss book, but it's certainly one of the best. |

Occasionally it borders on the ridiculous when the topics covered are the names of the latest Microsoft products and software packages (competitors are rarely mentioned). Quite alot of ink is expended pushing Microsoft, repeating the names of Microsoft products, and mentioning how great Microsoft products are.
