| For Read Across America night at school, a fellow teacher and I read bot the English and Spanish version of this book. the families really enjoyed it. With all the repetion, the children quickly picked up the Spanish words. |

| It was one of my favorite books as a child and was one of my daughters favorites, as well. We loved reading it together. It is always tops on my list of books to give a baby girl for Christmas. |

| The elmo's world books are cute but they have flaps on every page that my kids tore off in two seconds. This is a book you can't leave them to enjoy on their own if you don't want it destroyed. I would not recommend this book for that reason. |

| Even though these are tales that are completed by Bemelmans' grandson, I barely noticed the differences. My children and I enjoy reading all of the Madeline series, so much so, that we have purchased all of them. I highly recommend this book. |

| My two-year-old loves many of the "Mr Men" books, and Mr Happy is one of his two favorites (Mr Quiet being the other). I love reading this to him as well. In this book, Mr Happy in Happyland stumbles upon Mr Miserable and teaches him to be happy.
Roger Hargreaves' story is short, simple, and easy for kids to follow, with just enough alliteration to make it fun. His pictures are bright and bring the story to life. My son so loves this book that every time he sees a "smiley face" he exclaims ... Read More: |

| I know well these wonderful little books, as well as the Little Miss series too.
They're just the right size for little hands to hold. The illustrations are brightly coloured and funny. They're great for early readers and fun for adults too. They are written in the UK, so an occasional explanation for certain words maybe necessary, but doesn't detract from the stories? |
