| Story was great -- but the reader, very poor. Reader tried to imitate voices - making the characters come off very goofy and irrating. A consistant voice telling the story would be strongly preferred. |

| The set does not cost much but the books (although they look good in the box) are not well put together. You will think that someone sat at home and make them with not technology whatsoever. I think you could find a much nicer book for that price o just a few more dollars. |

| This is a classic Seuss book for older children - it's dedicated to a girl 90 months old, which puts her at 7 and a half, my guess is that this book is intended to be read for children 7 years old or so.
Bartholomew Cubbins is struck by a terrible misfortune - every time he takes off his hat to the king, it is replaced by another. | Bought this for my daughter who is entering third grade. Personally I am thrilled she is reading books I read. She is borrowing from the library but she received the first few from an aunt and we have purchased what she can't find to borrow.
Well written with an appropriate sense of humor for her age level. As a teacher I'd say they are probably appropriate for grades 3 through 6 or 7th grade dependent on their reading level. |

| The five stories that are included in this book are the perfect "starter set" of Berenstain Bears stories for my 2 1/2 year-old. He loves the characters and really enjoys this book! I like the fact that it's a hardback cover as well; very sturdy, and will hold up to years of use. A very nice collection. |

| The pictures in this book are very nice. My 5-year old loves to hear it as a story before going to sleep. The ending of the story is also suitable for this age, since Rumpelstiltskin ends up flying out the window, instead of something more tragic happening to him. |
