| Some of the reviewers here are claiming that this is an exact reproduction of the 1908 version, and that that is why there are typos in it. After receiving my copy, I don't believe that.
I have other books which are true facsimile versions (such as an edition of the Wizard of Oz), and those photographically reproduce the pages exactly as they were in the original edition. | First off Tintin is one of my all-time favorite book series. I used to read them as a kid and still have all them that were purchased nearly 30 years ago, and I'm looking forward to reading them to my son when he gets a little older. I accidentally discovered that this book was available, and bought it straight away.

| Bought this for my daughter who is entering third grade. Personally I am thrilled she is reading books I read. She is borrowing from the library but she received the first few from an aunt and we have purchased what she can't find to borrow.
Well written with an appropriate sense of humor for her age level. As a teacher I'd say they are probably appropriate for grades 3 through 6 or 7th grade dependent on their reading level. |

| My 4yr old son just loves tractors. And with the John Deere books he really gets into the bright colored pages. Then he likes to tell his own story from what he sees from the pages. In which I think that it helps with his vivid imagination. |

| I gave this book five stars because, more than any other technique we've tried, it has helped my daughter stop sucking her thumb. Now four years old, she had been sucking her thumb since she was about six months old. We've tried rewards, sticker charts, threatening loss of privileges, talking with the dentist, the works. Nothing worked. This book, in three weeks, has taken my daughter's bad habit from an all-day activity to just one she does in her sleep.
