| I'm a speech pathologist and use this book for some sessions. Some of the items are hard for language-impaired kids to name; like table saw, electricity line and roller paint tray. However, because these words are hard to find, i've found that this book is a great tool for teaching circumlocution. The concrete cause and effect relationships shown in pictures are nice too. |

| I have a confession. I love all of Prof. Berk's work, and this lovely new volume is no exception. Like his other children's books, this is a book for readers. The artwork is gorgeous, but it is filled, filled with words. In fact, it's so packed that it took 5 artists to illustrate it! | My 4-year-old fell in love with this book, and others in the series. Short, repetitive sentences, humorous stories, and appealing animal characters made it a hit; it's also helping her learn to read. Good choice for toddlers as well as preschoolers and early readers. |

| Preston is out doing his daily stuff, when SUDDENLY! he changes his mind and doesn't get harmed by the wolf stalking him.
This book is full of cartoon violence, as the poor wolf (yeah, right) gets more and more injured while trying to harm the lucky Preston. The timing in this book is perfect, and it's great for those more interactive storytimes. |

| Horrible book. I wouldn't pay 50 cents at a garage sale for it. We were expecting another Pat the Bunny, which my daughter reads 20 times a day. This book is pathetic in it's attempts at interaction, and only offers a few pages of fuzzy creatures to touch and a door to open. Totally useless. |

| This is the lamest excuse for a carry all coloring book that I have ever seen. We are HUGE fan of Ian Falconer so we own most everything he has written but this purchase was a massive mistake. There is NO handle for the "carrying case" which makes it a bit hard to carry, the coloring book is flimsy and very small with few pages, the crayons might cost you 30 cents at the drugstore and wow, a whole nine stickers. | This book is so fantastic! Not only does it teach farm animals and opposites but you can count flowers or bugs, learn colors, tell stories about what the animals are doing, and so much more. My two-year-old *loves* this book and always laughs when we get to the end. I love the cute pictures (the illustrator uses felt cutouts instead of drawings) and how much fun we have following the pig around. You won't be sorry if you buy it--it's a great book. |
