| My daughter and I fell in love with Peaceful Piggy Meditation and bought an extra copy for my nephew who lives a rather high-powered life for a four year old. So when I saw this book I didn't hesitate to purchase since I figured it would nurture my daughter's budding interest in yoga. It has certainly done that--we use it often. | My daughter, now 7 going into 2nd grade, & I have been reading together all her life, but lots since we started going to the library when she was about 2. Poppleton was an early discovery, long before she was learning to read herself. The short tales appealed to her as a preschooler, & now as a young reader. The illustrations are darling, but the character himself is utterly charming. He just makes you smile, sort of like Winnie the Pooh or Ziggy. | My six year old reads this book many times to herself! She loves Mercy and Baby the next door neighbor and of course my Daughter now eats her toast with butter like Mercy! |

| Holly Hobbie is a wonderful writer! All of her books are great, but Wish You Were Here is our favorite. Not only are the illustrations beautifully done, but the story itself is hilarious. Every time my daughters and I read this, I can't help but laugh at the sight of the little pig who has turned blue because he has caught the 'violet virus' (by getting stung by the fierce-banded bush bee.) I can read this over and over without getting tired of it...and that's high praise from a Mom! |

| I got this book because my 2 1/2 year old couldn't get enough of "The Bear's Toothache." (also highly recommended.) I love the colorful pictures. My son has learned what bagpipes are and what begging is because of these illustrations. My friend who teaches 1st grade was around when I was reading this book with my son and she informed me that this kind of rhyming book is so good for children. (I pause before the last word of the paragraph which completes the rhyme and my son finishes it for me.) I am getting this as a gift ... Read More: |

| This book was really extremely boring. The most exciting part to me was the end because I knew that I wouldn't have to read anymore. I bought it because my husband remembered liking this book as a child. After reading it myself, I think he must have been very young when he read it and does not remember it correctly.

| My 4 year old daughter and I are big fans of pigs, especially Toot and Puddle. In this story, Toot is depressed, and Puddle and Tulip try everything to make him feel better. It is a very sweet and endearing story of friendship. |
