| We've had this book for almost a year and my one year old daughter LOVES it! We read it to her in the bath every night. It has faded a bit but has not fallen apart as other people mentioned. If it had, we would have bought a new one! |

| I've given this picture book to every child I know. Like the first book in this charming series, "Not a Stick" is about a child's ability to fashion their own fanciful world from whatever they have at hand. It is proof positive that there is rich life beyond video games and television. The simple line drawings are cheery and appealing. |

| Although this book incorporates currency into the story line, it is primarily a book with a math exercise. It does not really teach children about money in the grander sense. Children just learning the denominations of various coins and dollar bills may find something new in this story, but it wouldn't be my first choice to introduce the subject. There is also a restaurant menu with prices that could potentially be used as a teaching tool.

| This is such a great book for folks who hope to teach their kids the immense value of connecting with the breath. My 3-year-old asks for this book specifically at story-time and finds the situations described in the peaceful piggies' lives very relate-able. It's a lovely book.

| My sons and I loved the first Olivia. It is an introduction to a character, and not a story as such. I was expecting this to be a story, but it is really just (spoiler coming) about a spoiled girl-pig who wants to create a band to perform at a 4th of July Celebration. That is the premise, but then when it is time to go...she decides she doesn't want to perform. There is no reason behind this decision....she just wants to make a band, then doesn't. Pointless plot. | I agree this book is wonderful. I haven't seen a single clinker by Mo Willems yet. Love these readers and the Pigeon picture books. Very well done and so kid-friendly! |
