| I have been using this book to help my two sons, ages 8 & 11, understand and control thier tempers. I have read several of these types of books to them and I feel that this one has been the most effective. The book is written with an appealing age appropriate sense of humor and the illustrations are fun for them to look at. 1. Katsa, the main character was well developed and well thought out. She is obsessive and fiercely independent, but also lonely and self-loathing. | About 2 years ago Iread the original Mysterious Benedict Society to my sons and they enjoyed it. Now they are 9 and 10, and I think this sequel was an even better story to share with them. In the original book, there is a series of challenges, puzzles or tests that had to be solved by the protagonists. My boys really enjoyed trying to puzzle these out. | Taking only back seat to the first original Fancy Nancy story- we love this book. My kids especially love that Nancy even "scoops poop"- provokes laughter each time we read it. | My 3-year-old daughter and I love this book. The illustrations are so fun to discuss and I really like that the story gives an example of making lemonade out of lemons when something less-than-optimal happens. This is a great introductory book when diving in to the Fancy Nancy collection. |

| My 4 yr old loves these books! This was a really cute one and is well-illustrated as always. We enjoyed the ending and duck is always fun to watch as he causes trouble on the farm. |
