| I have recently read the beautiful novel Bridge to Terabithia. What an amazing children's book. I highly recommend this book for the young adult reader. The two main characters Jess and Leslie form a close friendship with the usual ups and downs of school children. Both children come from different backgrounds but are drawn together. | The pictures are entertaining and the speaker captures the attention. My daughter is one to please adults, though. If your child is unruly, I'm not sure this book would work very much. A good reinforcer and fodder(sp?) for discussion. |

| I picked this book up because of the interesting cover, and the weird style of writing I found inside when I flipped through it. I had absolutely no idea what crank was (I mean I had never heard it refered to as crank), and I dove in eagerly.

| My 2.5 year old daughter received this book as a gift and we have never read the first one. The story is wonderful, funny and cute and the illustrations are a very creative mix with real photography. My daughter has this book memorized now and reads it to me which is priceless. I'm getting her the first one for her 3rd birthday and I'm sure it will be a great addition to our home library. |

| I read with my daughters every night - once or twice a year, we find a book that makes me sneak back into their room late at night to read a few chapters ahead because I just can't wait for the next day. This is one of those books. The sisters are amazing - funny, bright, each very much their own person - from Rosalind - mature beyone her years to little Batty, each character a joy. Dare I say modern March sisters?

| My 2 1/2 year old son really enjoys this book. I think it has helped him understand what it will be like to have a baby in the house. I thought it was really cute. The only thing I thought the book didn't really address was the fact that the older child will be getting less attention after baby comes. It would have been nice to have a page showing the older child playing on his own while Mommy changes baby's diaper or feeds baby. Other than that, a really cute book! |
