| well, as the title of the book suggests, this is a book about good manners, being polite and what not.
My 2 year old girl likes it already, although I think it would be even better for older children, they could follow more easily the stories with their favourite characters from Richard Scarry (great drawings!!!). | I picked this book up because of the interesting cover, and the weird style of writing I found inside when I flipped through it. I had absolutely no idea what crank was (I mean I had never heard it refered to as crank), and I dove in eagerly.

| Truthfully, I started this story and stopped. Started and stopped. I kept having nightmares in my sleep of Lakshmi. These dreams were so harrowing that I would have to step away and pick up another book with new words to scrub out the ones from Sold that conjured the images in my mind. (I know this may sound weird to some people but I'm aware that I operate like a sponge at times, making it very difficult for me not to feel. I'm just too spiritually sensitive to such things.)

| I loved the first three books in this series. I loved Bridget, Carmen, Lena and Tibby, and how they all had personalities, talents and quirks of their very own. Their friendship was very strong, unique and was beautifully portrayed. Ann Brashares did such a great job with the first three books in character development, plot and with writing each of the four girls. Brashares wrote each of the four girls so well in the previous three books that I was looking forward to the final book. I was really excpecting something great.

A lonely little girl finds a stray dog who can smile. This preacher's daughter has been to India ( was named after it), but lost her mother very early. Sadness and loneliness give way to new friends and good times as Winn-Dixie wins friends her in the Florida summer. The book is well written and a heart string plucker. Most children and grandparents should enjoy the stories here. |

| I know at first the writing style of the text in the book may throw some people off... but it is what gives the story the actual feel of being there and exploring the crazy chaotic world of meth... great book, wish it was a bit longer, i read it in 6hrs |
