| This manuscript was reportedly found among Dr. Seuss's things after he died, and was finished and published by his wife.
This is not my favorite Dr. Seuss, but a cute book nonetheless. Mayzie suddenly sprouts a daisy on top of her head, and the town is in an uproar trying to figure out what should be done! With a "There's No Place Like Home" and Forgiving Family ending, it's worth reading. It seems like I had more trouble reading the rhymes smoothly than with other Seuss favorites. |

| This book is one of a number of books that have a Dr. Seuss rhyme to them but that teach some aspect of nature or the world. This one goes into Dynasaurs, others are on the human body, insects and other animals. Whereas the rhymes don't always work it does keep a childs attention and they can't help but learn something. |

| In this book the Cat in the Hat makes a great effort to read with his eyes shut, only to realize that it's much easier and better to read with his eyes open. And he goes on to marvel about everything that you can read about, and everything you can learn through books. It's a beautiful and inspiring introduction into the importance of reading, a Seuss-must-have!!! |

| This is one of Dr. Seuss's best for very young children. It is fun to read, and will surely make you giggle, especially when you see the pink underpants! The pictures are cute and we always pause to talk about them. There are few words and soon your toddler will have them memorized, and be reading along with you. The kids and I highly recommend this book.
We also recommend "Jamberry" by Bruce Degen and "There's a Wocket in my Pocket" by Dr. Seuss.s |

| Awful, awful, awful! I would have given it zero stars, but that wasn't an option. The book is read MUCH TOO FAST for a child to follow along and turn the pages. The page turn signal is a tiny bell that is hard to hear and so short it gives no time to separate the pages and turn them. By the time a child gets the page turned, the reader is 4 or 5 pages ahead because they are also reading SO FAST!
