| In my school district we talk a lot about social, emotional literacy. This book is great in showing students that differences and individuality is what makes everyone unique and exciting. I used this book with seventh grade students and they loved the fact that I was reading them a storybook. For many students it has been so long since an adult has read them a storybook but I feel it is important to continue to model how to read fluently. |

| This was the funniest book I have ever read. I found it in the Doctors office and was going to check it out for my grandsons to see if I needed to order it. I sat in the office and laughed out loud, then came home and ordered the book. My daughter and son in law are also delighted with this book and enjoy reading to the grandchildren. |

| This book is so different than the average children stories! My 4year old loves it, mostly for the illustrations, I love it for the language used. The descriptions are wonderful, if only I could speak or write this way. It exposes us both to great timeless stories.

This book is my favorite out of the first four. The reason I like the fourth book the best is because it has the most details. For example J.K. Rowling described the dragons that Harry fights against very well. She does it well because she uses examples skin color and various things like that. Another reason I like this book the best is because it has a lot of action. One example of action was when Harry had to fight a giant spider. | I remembered this book from my childhood and ordered it in remembrance of my husband's grandfather whose last name was Ferdinand. It is a beautiful story and the illustrations are a perfect compliment to the text. |

| Of all the Dr. Seuss books I have from my childhood, I hadn't seen this until browsing on Amazon. This is great! (not that I'm surprised coming from the Seuss line). I had a blast reading it, and it's the first book my new daughter has seemed to actually respond to. I'd definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a "new read". |

| Dahl is a misogynistic creep who was probably abused as a child. Hurting children is NOT funny.
Roald Dahl, and most British childrens' book authors, love to write stories about tormented, punished, starving, suffering children. I don't think British people like children, period. Just read David Copperfield or Oliver Twist by Dickens, any Harry Potter book, Alice in Wonderland among others. | 'Totoro' was the first thought that entered my mind when I saw this book. The author must have had some influence from the animation and nothing wrong with that. It is a beautifully water colored book and the familiar stories that I've heard as a child. |
