| While not as exciting as Micro Monsters or some of the other DK Readers titles, this book is still in our boys' bookshelf. We moved to a new neighborhood where there are several resident squirrels. Our boys wanted to know more about them and why they live in trees.

| A lot of nice pictures of the people, places and events that Padme encounters throughout Episode l. Easy enough for kids to read and understand on their own. Very nice, short, sweet... I would recommend. |

| DK Publishing created the "Eyewitness Books" series for young readers. This volume does a fine job presenting information about pyramids for the stated audience. The writing is pitched appropriately for younger readers. As with all entries in the series, the illustrations and photos are wonderful.

| My 7 year old son has had this book for a couple of years and it is still used very often. In fact one of his good friends is himself a walking dinosaur encyclopedia and my son hids this book every time this friend comes over to play. If he doesn't hid the book his friend spends the entire day reading this book instead of playing with him. His friend has also requested this book for his birthday. | They're simple. They're informative. They're cheap. If your child is too young to read, they're perfectly good read-aloud books.
What more can you ask for when stocking your kid's library? This one has a simple story indicating the steps it takes to turn a factory into a park. Plenty of new vocabulary for any child interested in construction - and I don't know of one kid who isn't ultimately interested in construction! |

| I purchased this for my son who is 9. He enjoyed it to my surprise and pleasure! It is well illustrated and made him think outside the box ( not that hard for a nine yr.old). The questions this book generates in the young reader makes it a valuable book in their education. |
