| You can't beat this series. I absolutely love this book too. The way Henry and Lin deal with real issues in an entertaining way teaches kids lessons without readers even knowing it. I loved this book! |

| We got this book to read with our 3.5-year-old son. I am very disappointed. Based on the good reviews, I assumed it would be a wholesome story. Instead, I learn that Frances sings terrible, mean songs about her little sister and her friend "Fat" Albert. I skip the words to those songs, as I don't even want to plant the seed of such unkindness in my son's mind. | We have a lot of new baby books, and this was one of our favorites. It gives a lot of information without being overwhelming. It also does not introduce the negative side of siblings. I didn't want to put ideas into our son's head before the baby came. I figured he'd discover the negatives on his own and we could find books to address them later, if needed. | As the mother of a 2 1/2 year old who is obsessed with anything with wheels, this was a must have. We had borrowed it from our local library, and once we returned it, he asked for it so frequently that I purchased it for him. It remains one of his favorites!
Illustrations are sweet and simple, and the text is simple as well. Nothing fancy, just perfect for a toddler. |

| I just finished reading this to my first-grader. In addition to a lot of fragmented sentences (which I can almost understand). Why are words spelled like runned and spended (instead of ran and spent)? Have they no editors that review these at all. Also, Junie B seems to be more foul-mothed than most first graders that I've seen. |
