| I have read almost every one of Robert Parker's "Spenser" mysteries. I've liked them all, but the quality varies. This is one of the best. Although I agree with another reviewer that the type is getting bigger (or I'm getting a lot faster at reading) and the snappy repartee is getting repetitive. On the other hand, I like Hawk's summary of Spenser's technique: just poke the hornet's nest until a hornet comes out.

| I was so excited to see this new novel by James Patterson. He is one of the rare authors whose books I buy without question. His books that are written with other authors are usually not very well written. It's almost as if he just gives them the plot and allow the other authors to run rampant with the story. When I saw this book, an Alex Cross book at that, I was hooked. It is a true page turner. | I first learned of this book written by Erik Larson on C-Span's Booknotes. In hearing Larson's explanation of the Chicago's World's Columbian Exposition, I became intrigued by what it took to build and what this Fair represented not only to Chicago but to the United States.

| The story is better and faster paced than his second book (DaVinci), plus better locals. Front to back one of the best books I have ever read. |

| See my review of "Blood Brothers", the first part of this trilogy. I am a fan of Nora Roberts and have enjoyed all the books I've read or listened to, especially her more recent works over the past 5-8 years. This is another good one.
That said, this is read by a different narrator than Blood Brothers. I found this woman so annoying I wanted to rip the CD out of the car, throw it out the window, and go get the written book. Thankfully I see the third book of the trilogy is read by someone else. |

| when I was shooping for kindel books I came across this older Janet Evanovich book. I didn't realize she had written under a different name. The book is a light easy read and very entertaining. |

| A long-time fan of the Prey series with Lucas Davenport, I was unsure about this line extension featuring Virgil Flowers. Sometimes authors depart from the tried and true at their peril. Having read Dark of the Moon and now Heat Lightning, it is clear that Sandford has another winning character who can easily stand on his own and carry a story. | The picture quality in Blu-ray version is absolutely stunning!! This is how all transfers to high def should be. With a calibrated a TV you will be blown away with its inky blacks and spot on colors.
The finest BD I've to date. Buy this just to show off your rig and if you like the movie then just consider it a bonus. |

| When I first read one of her books "My sisters keeper" I was completely in awe. I loved it, its actually one of my favorites. I , then , when on to read "keeping faith" and
"the pact". I loved those as well (all of the endings let me down though). Nineteen Minutes was the ONLY book from hers that I anticipated and I was completely let down.
