| Loved it, loved it, loved it. I am not a teenager anymore but I still loved it. I could relate. I read it in one evening and wished that there was book 2 to read. Please keep writing these great, funny books. |

| Tintin ends up in yankeeland, and as soon as he arrives, runs afoul of your garden variety 1930s Chicago gangsters. They want to get rid of him, for sure.
Of course, he has to end up in the Wild West, where multiple tries to have him lynched don't work, let alone the dog. This allows him to get to the bottom of the plot. |

| This oversized book does indeed belong on the bookshelf of every child. They just do not come much better. The wonderful art work by Eric Carle is worth the price of the book alone (If I could afford it, I would dearly love to have one of his originals hanging on my office or home wall). The entire book is made up of Carle's wonderful paintings of various animals, and each is accompanied by a poem written by some of the best poets in the world. | All of The Whole Story books are fantastic. My eighth graders love to read these because they enjoy the sideline information and pictorials that help them to better grasp the story. I bought a classroom set and have already requested for our school to invest in Tom Sawyer by this same company. Great Idea! |

| One of the best Tintin books, done in the mid 50s, right after the two moon books, had the Bordurians and the Syldavians going after the latest invention of Calculus, a weapon capable of destroying faraway cities through sound waves. This is the closest Tintin book to a (nifty) espionage novel, submerged in a cold war atmosphere you don't see anywhere else in the series. | As an elementary school teacher i know that things for children are a good, simple way for people to start learning; even "older" adults. I have been correct. I also like hearing the language from both children and adults as my husband and I will be spending six weeks in italy with families. I plan to pass this along to friends that want to review their past italian language skills. The workbook also provided good review and learning. It's been fun. Ciao. |

| The songs have catchy melodies so it's easy to learn them and join in. I like the fact that the delivery is fast, imitating native French speakers. Also a plus is that children's voices are used in the conversations which is more fun. Drawbacks are that the songs are imbedded in the middle of the instructional tracks on the CD. It would be better if they had their own designated tracks - because already my kids want to hear the songs but don't want to hear the narrator's explanation and translation. |

| I took French over 10 years ago in high school and bought this book to refresh my French. It's helpful that the segments all build on one another and the dictionary in the back. Excellent book for those who need a refresher! |

| This book was bought as a gift to my nephew and he loves it. The book has the words in both Spanish and English so his dad is learning Spanish at the same time as he's reading it to the baby. Its colorful and engaging. Baby's age is 21 mo. Definite buy! |
