| This book is fantastic! My daughter loves all the books in the Snappy series. The pop-ups are big and colorful. The pop-ups even withstand an occasional grab by excited little hands. My daughter is 13 months old, and sits throught the whole book everytime. She's liked them since she was 4 or 5 months old. |

| The opening line of this book is so fabulous, I bought the book. And wasted my money. By the end of chapter four, the story has jumped from character to character to character, which makes it very hard to really know or care about anyone. And it's confusing. The writing is slow and too detailed. I finally put it down, unfinished, which is extremely rare for me. I love children's fantasy. I read everything. But this one failed to grab my attention. |

| I love reading this book to my kids, ages 6 and 8. I enjoy the story as much as they do. It is a simple story, easy and very enjoyable to read. I think the words are clever and have a nice flow to them, and the story is really cute. |

| I read these books with both younger sons for years and we loved them. It's amazing how many times you can "read" one of the books and yet find something you had never noticed before. Such a neat way to engage young children in books. We would make up our own stories and the boys would try to best each other in finding the most unusual happening on each page. If you buy one I'm sure you'll want the other. Very, very enjoyable! |

| I'm a pretty recent fan of Lisa McCourt (and Cd Moore's amazingly illustrations) and I must say I am quite pleased with this latest book and I hope my upcoming crop of 1st graders feels the same way. Realistically, I would aim this toward the kindergarten crowd. Whomever appreciates, it truly is another well-done piece and the illustrations are just gorgeous.
